Susan R. Cook, president and founder of Account Ability, Inc., started the company in 1987 on Nantucket
Island. Originally Account Ability, Inc. was a full-service bookkeeping, tax, and payroll service firm that served
over 90 different businesses. Now on the Cape, Susan mostly works as a
freelance consultant -- selling, supporting, implementing and training
in QuickBooks and related products. With over 20 years experience in small business accounting, she is well qualified to assist businesses with their accounting needs. She has also taught adult education QuickBooks
courses at Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School. Recently, she was a featured
speaker at the Geek Girls Boot Camp in Hyannis and Boston 2009. As a
Certified Sleeter Group Consultant, a national accounting software
consulting group, she attends its Accounting Software Conferences annually.
After attending Intuit's 2008 Accounting Professionals User Conference, she
became an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. In 2009 Account Ability became the Cape and Islands only Intuit Solution Provider, offering sales and implementation of QuickBooks Enterprise Software and related add-ons. In addition, she holds several other
certifications including those for QuickBooks Enterprise 9.0, QuickBooks Pro & Premier 2006,
2007, 2008 and 2009, and QuickBooks Point of Sale 5.0 and 6.0.
